Ham & Cheese Omelet...

Mother's Day Ham & Cheese Omelet served with fresh veggies...
Easy enough for Hubby to make for his Bride on Mother's Day.
Use 2-3 Eggs per omelet
Scant of milk or cream
Cheddar Cheese, sliced thin
Fresh Tomatoes, chopped fine
Avocado, halved and sliced thin
1-2 slices of Ham steak, slice thin & diced
Garlic salt & pepper to taste
Over a medium+ burner use a small frying or omelet pan and 1 tablespoon of butter. Melt butter, then add eggs beaten with a scant of milk. When the eggs begin to set add; ham, avocado, tomatoes and cheese. Add garlic salt & pepper to taste. Continue cooking until eggs are set.
* See below for remaining instructions
**NOTICE that the ingredients are only on one side of the omelet, allowing room to fold the egg/omelet into a 1/2 moon shape.
In a side pan...I fried some ham steaks to serve with the omelet.
When egg begins to brown, flip 1/2 of the omelet over the top of the other half. cook for a few minutes longer, melting the cheese.
Serve the omelet with a garnish on top and a slice of ham steak on the side. I served some extra veggies on the side and some strawberries with whipped cream.
