A Vintage Turquoise Gem...

A vintage cabinet, refinished and repurposed...A true Turquoise Gem...
This retro cabinet once was a home to record albums... In years past,  this item would sit near the HiFi....
HiFi??? A High Fidelity Stereo Record Player!
K-8 & I joined together to re do this cabinet.
She needed some furniture for her Vintage Cowgirl Style Living room.
We chose Turquoise with an antiqued finish for the color...
I found this solid cabinet at a thrift store for $20 bucks!
The outside was very worn, but the inside was very clean and nice.....NO need to change that!
A quick coat of paint, let dry and we were ready for staining....
I used a dark walnut stain over the paint...
We also distressed the cabinet in several places...then we applied a clear coat of spray to seal.
We left the hardware alone, just a quick wash and dry! Keeping the Old Vintaged look!!!
Loved how it turned out! K-8 uses it at her front door...a great place for her to take off and store her shoes!
Refurbished, Restored & Repurposed with Style...
