 RECIPE:
Beefy Bloody Maria Short Ribs...

2- 2 1/2 pounds of short ribs, frozen or fresh
2 cups of Spicy Bloody Maria Mix, *(I used Mr. & Mrs. T's mix)
1 cup of Bloody Maria Marinade mix
1 cup of tequila, silver or gold
2 beef broth (Knorr's) cubes
2 packages of (Knorr's) gravy mix, dry
1 cup of Bar-b-que sauce, ( I used original Masterpiece brand)
Garlic Pepper seasoning, to taste (or the PineCreek Ranch seasoning)
1 package of sliced mushrooms
1 large onion, sliced
2 large baking potatoes, cut into chunks
1/3 jar of Jalopeno Peach Jam
Olive Oil for sautéing
Cumin & Expresso Powder, lightly dusted, see directions

Directions:
Place the ribs in a large crockpot, frozen or not, set the heat on low for all day cooking
Mix togheter: Bloody Maria Mix, Tequila, Marinade, Gravy packets and the Bar-B-Que sauce, mix well....Pour over the ribs
Add the beef cubes to the sauce, let them melt into the sauce, gently stir to blend
Add the jelly, gently stir into the sauce
Season lightly with garlic pepper

In a large skillet, saute the onions, carrots & mushrooms, in olive oil. Season lightly with cumin and the expresso powder. Lightly brown, then add to the croxkpot!

Lightly brown the coarsely chopped potatoes, with the skins on, then add to the pot...no need to season these.

Let cook on low all day or  at least several hours...reduce to simmer or buffet when thourghly cooked.

Serve with Salad & Bread...Meal complete! Fall off the Bone GOOD!
OH YUMMY THIS WAS GOOD! Ornery and I were invited for dinner at some very good friends house. I offered to bring short ribs...(I had planned on cooking these this week, so perfect timing!). These short ribs were a hit, so tender & full of flavor, our tummy's were VERY happy.....

Another friend, from High School, had given us a jar of homemade Jalopeno Peach Jam. I divided it into thirds and frozen the jam...that made it so easy to add to the recipe.  I had to tease them with before ans after photos of the meal....they needed to know I used their jam..right??? :)))  Thank you R & K! A little thoughtfulness went a long way!

Oh...it was GOOD....not too hot, not too sweet, just perfect! Yummy!
