Pumpkin Decor...Made Simple

Simple and so easy, this fall decor goes together quickly! In moments you are done! Adorable & inexpensive.

This was a fun project with fast results. All you need is a hot glue gun, wire cutters, ice pick or beading tool, faux succulent plants, faux branches (pussy willows) & faux pumpkins! I love how these turned out!!!! Easy Peasy!!!

Easy & quick. I used a beading tool to punch a hole in the pumpkin, then placed the branch with some hot glue on it into the hole.

Simple tools helped this project to be finished in minutes.

Vintage Dressmaker's Form becomes a Floor Lamp...

I love vintage Dressmaker form's, every seamstress does. I bought this particular one from a very good friend at a local store, Discover Earth Eco Boutique. The finished project came together quickly and goes perfectly in our guest room! Our guest room features the christening pictures of all our grandchildren, our wedding and our parents weddings, A 5 generation of photo, my christening photo, grandma's lipstick holders, a vintage perform bottle, my parents honeymoon luggage and more....

I love how my new, vintage lamp looks!

This was my dress form before.....

And after.....SO simple.... I simply took the back of the dress form apart and re attached it around the new floor lamp I purchased!

The old fashioned light bulb was a nice finish for the lamp!

This area is just behind the door in the bedroom......it features one piece of my parents honeymoon suitcases....& of course another dress form from Discover Earth Boutique!

My Rooster Flew the Coop....

A while back the strangest thing happened....I was outside the kitchen working on my dry creekbed area....Ornery had just left for the day...it was about 6am! I heard a loud crash in the kitchen...Mind you no one was in the house!!!! I walked over to the kitchen door and saw my Rooster on the tile floor!!!! Very weird...Not sure how that happened...And... the way it sat on my shelf....It seemed impossible! (It sits down about 3 inches or more below the crown molding!) Nothing else in the kitchen was moved or disturburbed! I had had a fleeting thought that we had had an earthquake...NOPE! Still a mystery....So instead of throwing him away.... Here is what I did to save my beloved and one of my very favorite roosters.....WHEN he flew the coop!

Broken Mr. Rooster...my heart sank! He was so pretty and I had had him a very long time!

Very surprised he didn't loose his head!!!!

He is restored to his former beauty, now he reigns over the back kitchen entry....

Mr. Rooster now welcomes our back door guests! Love the color he adds to the back walk up!

I was so sick about him falling....
My oldest rooster and one of my faves! I had to think of something to do with him... Couldn't bare to throw him away!

Happy with my salvaged Mr. Rooster.....He's got PineCreekStyle!!!

Beautiful Vintage Tin Repurposed with Style

While at a local Vintage Show & Sale a few months ago....I found the perfect Vintage accent piece for my Guest Room....Take a closer look at Artist, Maggie Hendrickson Andersen's beautiful creation.... I'm in LOVE!

This needle work also hangs on the Guest Room wall. I wrote this when my Granny left for Heaven. She is always with me, heart & soul...I am her mini me...I miss her dearly and it's been well over 28 years....

Vintage Bolo Collection...

A vintage Bolo Tie Collection was given to me by my father....We had bought & made a few for him over the years..Dad loved this ties much better than the standard cloth ties. But there are several vintage Bolo's given to my dad from family & friends. I found an old mirror frame, (no mirror), stained it and added some hooks and Ta-da....The perfect frame to showcase his Bolo's....Take a look! Posted on Pinterest too!

The Bolo on the left we bought for dad, its a carved elk on an antler!Very intricate. the one on the right is an arrowhead my Grandfather found, mounted on a polished stone.
