Simple "little extras" make an impressive presentation.
A little thought and preparation is always helpful before you start any recipe. Read your recipes before you start, then gather all your ingredients and kitchen equipment. Prep everything you can to make your recipe go smoothly. Always try to clean as you go.....it's a lot easier on you! One of the advantages of living in an empty nest......my husband, "Ornery" and I spend time cooking with each other. He makes a great Sous Chef and helps with clean up! Which, by the way, is awesome because I'm not exhausted when it is time to sit down and enjoy the "fruits of our labor". It's also a great way to wind down the day or enjoy the weekend together.
