We had an early Valentines weekend in Lake Tahoe...
It was TIME for a get-a-way!
If you have never been to Lake Tahoe, CA on the border of Nevada....It is a great get-a-way. Any season is good for a visit. Skiing, boating, hiking, swimming...and so much more (including Casino's on the Nevada side)
Not as much snow as we have seen in the past for February....
But enough for Skiing!

We are NOT Skiers, but I LOVE to LOOK at the SNOW!

The Ski lift is great, even if it's just for the views on a round trip ride.
The cool crisp air was pure joy....

They also have the Vacation Club there...Awesome Place to Stay!

Our room was a beautiful King size suite, sleeps six...we had it for TWO! The Living room, shown here, has a pull down wall bed and a sofa bed...therefore, sleeps six! Great for family trips....
Dining Area...Two more seats at the kitchen bar.
To the right is the entry alcove with a nice bench for purses and taking off those snow boots, etc... :)

I even used the sofa (for a while) to write a post, while enjoying the fireplace.....
Then...It was TIME for WINE!!!

We dined at a Four Star Restaurant....Ciera at MontBleu Casino on the Nevada side of Tahoe......AMAZING!!!

We had been there several times and planning to go back on december it was indeed a great place to stay. We even rented a Tahoe Taxi to make our transportation worry free from visiting once place to another.
