Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs!!!

Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs...

Your Taste Buds will LOVE you!

Bacon wrapped Hot Dogs....WOW what a way to improve the generic HOT DOG!

 My Family RAVED about these HOT DOGS! 

Hubby said they were the BEST-EVER!

So simple...You will want seconds!!!

 I didn't do a photo of the ingredients...but this is so simple you won't need it!

Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs

1 package of Hot Dogs, your favorite brand

6 strips of bacon

6 gourmet hot dog buns, I used sourdough

Homemade spice/seasoning mix...see below

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Wrap the bacon around the hot dog in a spiral fashion,

roll in the spices and place in the oven. Cook the Hot dogs until the bacon is done.

Prepare the buns with mayo, mustard or garlic and butter....or your favorite spread

*I used Garlic butter and broiled the buns

Garnish with sauteed onions and grated cheddar cheese, * I used aged white cheddar...Mmm...yummy!

And serve....A little avocado is good too!

Seasoning Blend below... 

I used some seasonings I had in my spice closet.....You may want to make your own blend...but a word of caution...you won't want to use any salts...the bacon and hot dog will be too salty.

Hot Dog Seasoning Mix:

1  tablespoon of Kona Coffee Spice blend (in the spice isle at the store) or a coffee spice blend

1 tablespoon of Garlic Pepper or Garlic Power & Pepper mixed

1 tablespoon of 5 pepper spice (in the spice isle)

1 teaspoon of cumin

1 teaspoon of Worcestershire pepper

Mix together to blend

Roll the wrapped hot dog in the spices and bake

Roll wrapped hot dog in the spices before placing in the oven

 Bake in the Oven at 350 until bacon is done

Prepare the buns as you wish...I broiled mine with garlic butter

 Cook sliced onions until lightly browned, use for garnish

Grated Aged white Cheddar Cheese for garnish...
