Thanksgiving will be here before you know it! I'm sure I am not the only one pulling out the Thanksgiving decor this week! Here is my Dress Form, she is ready for the occasion.....
|
She came together very easily and the results were beautiful! |
She looks very regal on posed on my stairwell! I know she will be a hit with our guests this season!
|
There is Beauty in the details... |
So pleased with her outcome...This is my first attempt of a Thanksgiving Dress Form...
|
She's stunning! |
Directions for Dressing the Dress Form:
- A wide strip of burlap, long enough to wrap around the shoulders, then crisscross around the waist
- String or twine to secure the burlap at the waist, tie a bow or a knot. This will provide a place to tie on the strips of netting, creating the skirt
- As mentioned above, cut stips of netting to create a fluffy longer tutu effect and tie onto the string/twine
- Use a simple leather belt, "pilgrimish" looking to secure the waist
- 1- Thanksgiving swag draped across the front at the waist, secure to the belt
- Additional greenery in the same colors, slipped through the belt in the back in an upward position, creating a look of the fullness behind the dress form.
- Various Pheasant feathers from the craft store, place in and around the greenery
Simple, easy and quick with stunning results....

Have a beautiful Thanksgiving... |
Have a blessed Holiday....
XO
