Yes...We made this for Easter Dinner...but this Salad is Delish any time of year....
Spring Fruit Salad
Just a few ingredients makes this quick salad....There are so many versions of this salad....from elaborate to simple...
This one is Simple, Quick& Easy
1 package of mini marsh mellows
1 large container of cool whip plus 2 heaping tablespoons of Brown Sugar
(I used Splenda Brand)
1 can each of: pears, peaches, fruit cocktail, mandarin oranges
and crushed pineapple...drained well
1 large crate of fresh strawberries, washed and sliced
*I also added 3 large Blood Oranges, peeled and separated
Garnish: chopped & salted pecans; optional
Drain fruit well....
Wash and slice Strawberries...
Fold in the Cool Whip gently... add 2 heaping tablespoons of brown sugar!
Blend again, gently... Place into the refrigerator to chill
Garnish with nuts when served
I added some bunny and chick peeps to brighten the salad for the Easter Buffet
The kids were impressed! :0
