Our Pool Bathroom...

I had NOT really decorated this little bathroom....It's just been a boring little bathroom for quite a while...The kids gave us some photos of the Grandkids, (spending time at the lake & ocean), a few years ago.  I wanted to hang them in our tiny bathroom!  This bathroom is in a great location of the house, not too far from the pool! It is perfect for use of the pool & back porch guests. I recently went to TJ Maxx, (imagine that!!!), and found some "Beach-y" items to complete my unfinished decor. I LOVE how everything turned out!

 The bathroom is very small...which is great for a pool bathroom. But it does make it a little hard to decorate! I've had this blue fish for some time! He's the perfect place to keep the air freshener! The photo is hard to see, (the small room makes it hard to adjust the lighting), it is our youngest grandson fishing at the lake! (See a better Photo below) The buoy & boat were a fun find at TJ Maxx!

 This photo of our daughter's children was taken a few years ago, in Hawaii! We were at the Pali Lookout, the ocean is behind! This is the last item that needs to be hung!
                    *(I need a tall, manly man to hang it...."OH Ornery, where are you???"....)

 These items were also found at TJ Maxx; The starfish, Anchor, the Seahorse...The Seahorse was a lovely gift from a friend! He's the perfect fit!

The before & after on the bathroom curtains. I needed a covering on the window since it is right off the back porch! So I kept the (rolling) shade in place. It is a neutral color. I made a new valance out of a heavy burlap table runner and added 2/3's of a fishnet and...Tah-Dah....Done! The remaining fishnet was draped over the window in the shower with a starfish caught in the net! (Found the fishing net at TJ Maxx too!) I "LOVE, LOVE. LOVE" how the bathroom turned out! Simple, clean & not too much decor. I choose the Watery decor for several reasons...We live on the River, the pool & the Grandkids photos...Works for ME!
