Cackleberry Squares...

 
My father in-law always called Eggs, "Cackleberrie's"! 
I LOVE the name Cackleberry! Too cute... Hence the name of this recipe!
You won't be disappointed with this food choice! Amazingly easy to fix and serve. 
This recipe is excellent great for the Holidays....
 Cackleberry Squares
8 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups jack cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups Mexican blend, shredded
dash of Garlic Salt
dash of Black Pepper
A heavy dash of Cajun Blend Spices
or use paprika or a spice of your choice
1 - 4 ounce can of dices green chili's, do not drain
6 pieces of Bacon, cooked crisp and cut into small pieces,
use 4 in the recipe and 2 for garnish 
Mix everything together and place in a 12x8 pan that has been prepared with cooking spray.
Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes
Cool and cut into squares and serve
Garnish with Sour Cream or Guacamole, bacon bits & hot sauce if desired.
Green chili's & cheese... 
 Beat the eggs well, then mix into the rest of the ingredients...
 Cook bacon, cool and cut into pieces... 
 Add 4 pieces to your mixture...reserve 2 for garnish...
 Mix eggs into cheese & other ingredients...
 Blend well...looking YUMMY!
 Pour into prepared pan...bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes...
Perfection....
This comes out of the pan perfect!
Cut into squares, garnish and serve. Perfect for Holidays & Guests...
Serve for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or Dinner
Use as the main meal or a side dish!
So adaptable... this lovely recipe!

Thanks again for stopping by my site-I think what drew you in was my Glamorous Toilet Repair, amazingly enough! Love the recipe, I just may have to try it. Although, I will probably use turkey bacon since that's what I have on hand. Not as tasty, but a lot less calories.... I wish my nails look as good as yours do when I take my recipe photos. Mine always look like I've run them through a belt sander a time or two. Ah, such is life. Have a great morning!
