Tabacco Stained Dresser, Retro Style...

A Retro Style Dresser in a Tobacco Stain color...
I found this dresser at the local Salvation Army Store. $15.00....Whoo-Hoo!
 He was solid and simple.....RETRO Style....era 195o's
I instantly knew....I wanted to finish him with a Brownish Tobacco Retro look!
This was the original color and well worn look! But SOLID!
The wood grain was beautiful!...A little prep work and I was ready to go!
I used a walnut stain in a paste form and let it dry. Then I applied a thin layer of black stain, allowing the brown stain remain dominate. Let it dry again... Instantly, I had a Tobacco Stained Retro Style Dresser.
I then used sand paper to distress the dresser here, there & everywhere...
After the heavy distressing, I finished with a clear matte finish.
I loved the results and so did my granddaughter when we added it to her retro french style bedroom.
Her room is done in beige, brown and touches of steel blue....ALL of the colors are antiqued lending a retro look to the room!
My Version of a Redo colored with Tobacco Brown & Retro Style...
