The cornbread is super moist. The Honey Butter is lightly sweetened yet big on taste.
This corn bread recipe is ALWAYS requested once it has been tasted!
I have served this Cornbread often at Ranch gatherings...It is ALWAYS a big hit!

1 box of yellow Cake mix ( used sugar free);
follow directions and ingredients on the box...Mine called for 3 eggs, oil & water
Mix together in a large bowl....THEN ADD:
1 package of Sweet Corn Pudding Mix along with the ingredients called for on the package:
My package called for 1 can of /creamed Corn, melted butter & water
Add the Sweet Corn mix to the Yellow cake mix and blend well.
*1 small onion, chopped fine & sauteed in 1 tablespoon of butter, optional
*1 cup of finely shredded cheddar cheese, optional
Stir into cake batter to blend...
Bake in a loaf pan, muffin tin, or cake pan
Bake at 350 degrees , Time would depend on the pan used. Follow the directions on the cake mix box.
Cool for 20 minutes and turn out to serve.

You can add onions, cheese, green chilli's, red peppers, jalepeno's or make it plain!

1 teaspoon pure vanilla
1 tablespoon of spun Honey
