Grilled Ribeye Dinner...
When four friends get together for a weekend...great things happen!
It didn't take us long to decide the menu...we all worked together and dinner was ready in no time!
4 Ribeye's
Loaf of Sourdough bread
4 potatoes
2 onions
Cabernet Blue Cheese Butter
Baked Potatoes:
Scrub 4 potatoes, pierce skins with a knife, oil skins with olive oil and season with garlic salt.
Bake in microwave on a plate at full power for 5 minutes, then turn over and bake for another 5 minutes. Check with a knife for softness, cut in half lengthwise. Top with a dollop of cabernet blue cheese butter before serving.
Ribeye's:
Prepare the Ribeye's with a light coat of olive oil and season with worcestershire
pepper and garlic pepper to taste

Grill on a hot grill, 4-6 minutes on each side for medium rare. Let rest 5-10 minutes before serving.
Just before serving, top with a tablespoon of Cabernet Blue Cheese Butter (see recipe below)
Grilled Onions:
Clean and prepare onions, remove skins
Cut in half, brush with olive oil, cook on grill with steaks
Sourdough Bread:
Prepare and broil sourdough bread while other food is cooking.

Slice lengthwise, butter with cabernet blue cheese butter. Slice into serving pieces. Broil until done, keep a close watch.
Cabernet Blue Cheese Butter:
2 cubes of soften butter
1/8 cup of chives
1/4 cup cabernet wine
garlic pepper to taste
1/2 cup of blue cheese crumbles
Blend all ingredients well, refrigerate for up to one month.
(*Set some aside to spread on bread before cooking. Put remaining butter in the fridge to chill until topping meat and potatoes.)
Serve with a simple side salad....the results were awesome!
