Pear & Plum Bundles...

Pear & Plum Bundles...
We were invited, by friends/neighbors, to dinner. In return, I invited them over to our house for wine & dessert afterwards.
I love using egg roll wrappers in place of pie crust! For one, it is easy...For the other, it makes a great presentation.
It has a WoW factor...
These little pie bites are a little piece of Heaven....
 Ingredients:
Egg Roll wrappers, count of 12-16
1 heaping tablespoon of flour
2 tablespoons of sugar (I used Stevia)
1/2 tablespoon of brown sugar or 1 tablespoon of Brown Sugar Splenda
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 cup of pecans or other chopped nuts
2 cups of fresh plums, pitted and chopped small
1 can of pears, drained well and chopped small
soften butter or olive oil to seal pastry roll
*small amount of honey to drizzle on top of cooked pastry
*small amount of powdered sugar to sprinkle on top
Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes,
cover with foil after five minutes...
Let cool five minutes then add honey & powder sugar just before serving.
*If serving later, do not add toppings until reheated...Serve slightly warm
 Plums ready to chop
Ready to mix and blend; fruit, sugars, spice, flour & nuts
 Mix together
Prepare pan with cooking spray, pre-heat oven
Place prepared fruit in the center of each wrapper (making 12-16 pie bundles)
I used paper towels to soak up the extra juices and a slotted spoon to catch only the fruit mixture.
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with olive oil or butter (I used olive oil).
Gather the four corners of the wrapper to form the bundles. Lightly squeeze the wrapper together to make the top hold. Place on the greased baking sheet.
 Ready to Bake
Bake bundles at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes, after about 5 minutes cover with foil to prevent burning
 Foil covered bundles...in the oven
 They are done...
 Cooled and ready to finish...
Drizzle with Honey and sprinkle powdered sugar on top...
 Yum...ready to serve...
Delicious Pie Bundles to Impress & Serve with Style...
