Vintage Nesting Bowls...

A few years ago my Mother gave me a set of Vintage Nesting Bowls which had belonged to my Grandmother. I loved them dearly...BUT,

 I didn't want to use them, for fear of breakage. 

So this is what I did with them....

I thought an "arrangement of veggies"  would display the Vintage Bowls nicely.

They make a wonderful centerpiece on my kitchen island. And sometimes I use them as my centerpiece for my kitchen table.

I love the color it adds to the room.

 I am NOT trained or talented in the art of arrangements, especially Vegetables! :S.

 Yes, I use to work in a floral shop...No, not EVER officially trained or taught. 

No way, No How!!!

I can get by with day to day stuff...any, but I didn't feel comfortable tackling this particular job!

So, I went and talked with Kate, the owner of House of Design in Red Bluff.

She (Kate) gracefully agreed to tackle my project. Made ME happy!

 She was wonderful...

She helped me choose faux veggies from her collection and she listened to WHAT I WANTED regarding MY arrangement!

Well...COLOR ME Happy!!!

*I knew Kate would do WONDERS with my Vintage Bowls. She has beautiful arrangements throughout her store. She also has created equally beautiful arrangements for several special events around the area. 

I had no qualms that my vintage Bowls would be in good hands!

 Here they are from the start...Simple Vintage Nesting Bowls!

I loved them just the way they were...but I really wanted to showcase them too!

I wanted to add Kitchen Color with Veggies & a 3-D effect! I wanted the bowls to keep their simplistic beauty yet have the arrangement "POP" and become a focal point. I also had a beautiful ceramic Rooster that I wanted to display with the bowls.
